Scientific Defense and Management for Vegetable Production During Cold Waves

Sudden cold waves pose serious threats to vegetable production. Under protected and open‑field systems, low temperature, frost, snow and strong winds can cause freeze injury, disease outbreaks, and facility damage. A scientific response requires systematic strategies across structure reinforcement, temperature control, water–fertilizer management, disease control, light management, and post‑disaster recovery.
