Yunhe Intelligence Co-Initiates the 'China-Africa Agricultural Quality Improvement Initiative' to Foster a New Ecosystem for Agricultural Modernization

At the Quality Infrastructure Empowering China-Africa Industrial Synergistic Development Cooperation and Exchange Meeting held during the Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, Hangzhou Yunhe Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yunhe Intelligence) co-initiated the “China-Africa Agricultural Quality Improvement Initiative” along with over 50 stakeholders, including government agencies, institutions, enterprises, and universities from both China and Africa. Under the theme “Unite to Build Dreams, Create the Future with Quality”, the initiative aims to promote China-Africa agricultural modernization and contribute to global food security through collaborative innovation, standard alignment, and talent exchange.

Background: Advancing National Strategies and Deepening China-Africa Cooperation

With the Expo themed “China and Africa in Action for Modernization”, this initiative actively responds to President Xi Jinping’s call to build a “new-era all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future.” Focused on quality improvement and synergistic industrial development, Yunhe Intelligence, backed by its strong foundation in smart agriculture technologies and project experience, plays a central role in promoting the initiative.

Core Actions: Multi-Dimensional Strategy to Build a New Agricultural Ecosystem

The initiative outlines eight key areas of action. Four of these closely align with Yunhe Intelligence’s technological roadmap:

• Technological Empowerment
  Leverage Agricultural Internet of Things (Ag-IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and Remote Sensing to build a one-stop quality infrastructure platform for China-Africa agriculture, enhancing production efficiency and resource utilization.

• Standard Co-Development
  Establish a China-Africa agricultural standards database; promote systems for grading, traceability, and certification of agricultural products to support African produce in developing global brand identity.

• Talent Cultivation
  Launch joint vocational education programs and competitions like the China-Africa Agricultural Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition to foster local talent in agricultural science and management.

• Industrial Collaboration
  Propose the establishment of a China-Africa Agricultural Industry Investment Fund to incubate smart agriculture projects and promote integration across the full agricultural value chain.
