YunHe Digital Agriculture Supports Shihe in China GAP Level 1 Certification
YunHe Digital Agriculture Supports Shihe in China GAP Level 1 Certification Jiaxing Shihe New Rural Development Co., Ltd. passed China GAP Level 1 certification. YunHe supported Shihe with a digital agriculture management system, IoT monitoring, smart fertigation, unmanned seedling-bed transport, and full traceability for cherry tomato and pak choi production. Jiaxing Shihe New Rural Development Co., Ltd. recently passed China GAP Level 1 certification, becoming the first agricultural enterprise in Nanhu District to obtain this certification. The certification covers cherry tomatoes and pak choi, showing that Shihe Organic Farm has strengthened standardized production, input management, harvest packing, quality traceability, and access to higher-standard channels.
YunHe has provided long-term digital agriculture support for Shihe Organic Farm. For scaled protected vegetable production, YunHe helped Shihe build a digital agriculture management system, IoT monitoring, smart fertigation, a digital germplasm archive, and an unmanned seedling-bed transport system, placing cultivation experience, farm tasks, environmental data, equipment control, and product traceability into one production workflow.
Standardized Production Records for Cherry Tomato and Pak Choi
China GAP Level 1 certification focuses on standardized records across the whole production process. Shihe cherry tomatoes follow documented procedures from variety selection, seedling raising, transplanting, watering, fertilization, harvest, packing, and transport. Pak choi, a cruciferous leafy vegetable supplied by Shihe year-round, also relies on soil improvement, crop rotation and field recovery, input control, and batch traceability to protect taste, quality, and safety.
YunHe digital agriculture management system connects farm planning, task assignment, field feedback, inspection correction, harvest warehousing, and sales flow. Managers schedule production in the system, operators receive tasks and submit execution records on mobile devices, and field records become auditable production files for China GAP requirements on operating procedures, quality control, and traceability.
IoT and Smart Fertigation for Protected Vegetable Management
Shihe Organic Farm operates more than 300 vegetable greenhouses and smart glasshouses. Manual greenhouse inspection, irrigation, fertilization, ventilation, and cooling require heavy labor. YunHe deployed an IoT system for Shihe to collect greenhouse environmental data in real time and connect shade curtains, fans, pumps, and fertigation machines to automated control routines.
The smart fertigation system supplies water and nutrients according to crop-stage demand curves, reducing subjective decisions and improving water and fertilizer use efficiency. Existing YunHe case records show that Shihe’s digital upgrade delivered water, fertilizer, and labor savings, while standardized cultivation improved product consistency across batches.
Unmanned Seedling-Bed Transport Reduces Cross-Risk
In seedling production, YunHe customized an unmanned seedling-bed transport system for Shihe. The system includes a master control computer, an upper feeding transport robot, and a lower feeding transport robot. It separates the working area from the plant growth area: staff complete operations in the working area, while robots move seedling beds back and forth.
This design reduces manual handling intensity and lowers pest, disease, and contamination risks caused by frequent personnel entry into planting zones. For protected vegetables such as cherry tomatoes and pak choi, digital records from seedling raising, transplanting, and field management form a standardized production chain.
Traceability Data from Harvest to Table
According to Dujia News Client, Shihe cherry tomatoes take less than six hours from harvest and packing to tables in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and other cities. This fast circulation depends on data coordination across production, warehousing, logistics, and sales.
YunHe traceability module gathers data on seedling sources, cultivation processes, input use, pesticide residue tests, harvest warehousing, order logistics, and sales destinations. Consumers can scan a product QR code to view production information, while managers use the digital dashboard to monitor production and sales status, supporting daily execution of China GAP standards after certification.
Digital Agriculture Turns Experience into Executable Standards
Shihe Organic Farm has advanced systematic digital upgrading since 2021. The project has been recognized as one of Zhejiang’s first digital agricultural factories and as a provincial project for stronger agriculture through science, technology, and machinery. China GAP Level 1 certification further shows the practical value of digital agriculture systems for standardized, precise, and traceable production.
YunHe will continue to support scaled planting bases, modern agricultural parks, and agricultural enterprises with farm management, IoT monitoring, smart control, input management, warehousing and sales, and quality traceability.
